This Page will be dedicated to all those tough questions we get asked in our business. If you have a question, or know of one with an answer, please forward it to me and I will post it here for all to benefit from. I hope this helps! Email Me Please keep in mind that these are answers that I give, it does not necessarily mean that they are the only answers, but they work for me. ******* Misconception about long wearing products. Most people believe with long wearing products that they can just apply in the morning and go, never to be touched again. WRONG! If you were to have bare lips they would feel dry during the day - you would either lick them, causing them to become chapped, or apply a moisturizer. You still have to apply gloss with long wearing color whenever your lips feel dry, this is common sense. Will this dry my lips? The only drying that our product causes happens during those few seconds after application. Once the product is dry, there is nothing left to continue drying the lips. However, if moisture (GLOSS) is not applied, your lips will feel dry. This is natural and not caused from the product (read the above). :) This is making my lips peel. Because our product is a "layer" and not a stain, it traps the lip skin that would naturally be exfoliated during the day giving the appearance of peeling. With a wax based product, that skin transfers when the wax product does. My top lip always looks darker than the bottom, my color is uneven. More than likely your client has a smaller top lip, therefore the light is refracted differently making it look darker even when the same amount of color is applied. The top lip is essentially in a shadow. To correct, I usually recommend an additional coat of color on the bottom lip. I love the product, but it won't stay on my lips. Body chemistry and medication will affect how the product wears on each individual. There are tricks to try and help make it stay longer though. One is to prep your lips with Oops! Remover. Wipe the Oops! wand across clean dry lips, then wipe off with a dry towel (not tissue). Apply color as usual, but let it dry a little longer than normal before applying gloss. The other trick is to base with Clear LipSense. Let me tell you, this stuff is like glue! Always apply clear first as it will remove your color!
